For many years I painted in watercolours and I was very comfortable with them. At the time I painted this piece, painting in acrylic medium was becoming more popular.  Primroses is one of my very first acrylic paintings I did probably more than 25 years ago. 

It was a challenging journey to switch to acrylic paintings.   I worked with the acrylic paints to capture the rich greens and luminous hues of the delicate petals.  This painting stands as a testament to perseverance and the joy of exploring a new artistic medium. Each brushstroke holds a memory of learning and growth, painting a story of determination and passion. 

My parents have enjoyed this painting in their home for many years. This luxurious painting would be a great addition to any collection.
